The Shooting Sports Club at North Central Missouri College wrapped up its spring season on May 1, 2019, with a trap shoot competition at the Sedalia Rod and Gun Club, hosted by State Fair Community College in Sedalia. The event consisted of 50 targets from the 16-yard line, 50 targets based on the shooter’s handicapped score, and overall total hit. Each team had nine shooters compete.
NCMC’s top five shooters had a total of 221/250 from the 16-yard line and 421/500 overall. State Fair’s top five shooters had a total of 207/250 from the 16-yard line and 373/500 overall. NCMC’s top shooter was Seth McMullin with 48/50 (including a perfect round of 25) and 92/100 overall.
“After hosting Hannibal-LaGrange University at our home range, Trenton Trap & Skeet Range, a couple of weeks ago, this event was a great way to finish the second season of our shooting club,” stated Jason Helton, co-advisor of the NCMC Shooting Sports Club. Rustin Jumps is a co-advisor of the club.
