NCMC to Offer SHOW ME GOLD Program to aid Missouri National Guard Soldiers

In partnership with the Missouri Army National Guard, North Central Missouri College will be offering the SHOW ME GOLD program starting in January 2020.  Full-time or part-time students who are members of the Missouri Army National Guard are eligible to apply. The SHOW ME GOLD program not only develops future leaders but also helps students pay for their education.

“We are pleased to be a part of the SHOW ME GOLD program with the Missouri Army National Guard,” said Dr. Lenny Klaver, President. “Along with being recognized as a Purple Heart College and a Military Friendly School, this is one more way we are helping our military students obtain their education at North Central Missouri College.”

Students enrolled in the SHOW ME GOLD program are eligible to receive 100% of their NCMC in-state tuition paid. In addition, enlisted students may also collect the GI Bill (full-time students), monthly income, job training, and the ability to become an Officer. Both current soldiers and new enlistees to the Missouri Army National Guard can enroll in the SHOW ME GOLD program.

To qualify for enlistment, students must be a permanent resident or US citizen, meet height/weight standards, be in good health, and have no tattoos located below the wrist or on their neck/face.
