Ryan Suttenfield, NCMC’s Sports Information/Marketing and Associate Baseball Coach, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Employee for September. Ryan is from Trenton, MO (his hometown is New Bloomfield, MO) and has worked for NCMC for 13 years. He holds a bachelor’s of special studies in economics/business and sports management from Cornell College and a master’s of science in sports management from American Public University.
Ryan describes his job as leadership, mentorship, and collaboration. In his position, he has greatly improved the spotlight and recognition NCMC student athletes get around campus and in their hometowns. In the future, he would like to help the baseball program reach the NJCAA DII College World Series. He sees athletics growing by adding additional sports offerings at NCMC. When asked what his favorite thing about NCMC is, Ryan said, “There is a level of caring and support for our students that is above and beyond what most institutions provide.”
When Ryan isn’t at work, he spends time with his wife Kim and son Barrett. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, and working out.
