The North Central Missouri College (NCMC) Foundation announces a correction to the 2023 Holiday Hoops High School Basketball Showcase. The Chillicothe Girls’ Basketball Team will now tip-off against Waukee Northwest on December 22nd at 1:30 pm, adjusting the previously scheduled date of December 21st. Revised game times for both days have been implemented, and the complete updated schedule is attached.

The 19th annual Holiday Hoops event promises nine days of exciting basketball action, featuring 48 games, all hosted at the Ketcham Community Center on the NCMC campus. This event showcases the very best in high school basketball from North Missouri.

Admission for spectators is $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens (age 65 and older). The comprehensive schedule for the 9-day event can be accessed at www.ncmissouri.edu/foundation/holiday-hoops/. Furthermore, games will be live-streamed for fans at www.piratesdigitalmedia.com.

The Holiday Hoops Committee extends gratitude to the affected schools for their cooperation in accommodating this schedule change.  The Committee’s overarching mission is to enhance the visibility of North Central Missouri College, its campus, and facilities. It strives to achieve this by providing a high-quality, competitive basketball environment where students and teams can showcase their skills during the winter break.

The 2023 schedule is subject to change, and any canceled games will not be rescheduled. In the event of games running ahead of schedule, there will be no commencement more than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time.

The NCMC Foundation is a 501c(3) IRS-approved organization that works in partnership with North Central Missouri College to help transform lives and empower students.
