The North Central Missouri College (NCMC) Foundation is pleased to announce that its General Scholarship Application for the 2026–2027 academic year is open. Students planning to attend NCMC full time during the Fall 2026 semester are encouraged to apply through the NCMC Foundation’s website. The priority deadline is Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. During the 2025–2026 academic year, the NCMC Foundation awarded more than $360,000 in scholarships to over 365 students, helping reduce financial barriers to higher education.

“The NCMC Foundation is excited to continue expanding scholarship opportunities for the 2026–2027 academic year,” said Kristi Varner, NCMC Scholarship Coordinator. “These awards are made possible through the generosity of donors who are committed to supporting NCMC students and making higher education more accessible.” The online application process is designed to be simple and accessible. By completing one general scholarship application, incoming, returning, and transfer students are automatically matched with scholarships for which they qualify. Awards are based on a variety of criteria, including academic achievement, financial need, career program of study, and a required essay.

Selected recipients will be notified through their NCMC student email accounts. Scholarship recipients are also encouraged to attend the NCMC annual scholarship reception each October to meet the donors whose generosity made their awards possible.
