The North Central Missouri College (NCMC) Foundation has announced that its Annual Scholarship Reception will take place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The celebration will be held inside the Ketcham Center on the main Trenton campus, with the formal ceremony running from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The annual event serves as the Foundation’s premier autumn gathering, bringing together institutional scholarship recipients, family members, and the generous donors whose funding supports the college’s student body. The reception highlights student drive and academic achievement while giving recipients a formal opportunity to personally thank the individuals, families, and corporate partners who invest in their educational journeys.

Dr. Mitch Holder will serve as the master of ceremonies for the afternoon. The program features an official keynote address from Joyce Cutsinger, a NCMC Foundation Board member, Distinguished Alumni member, and former faculty member who has dedicated years of service to the institutional community.

Attendees will also hear direct reflections from this year’s student platform party. Selected student speakers Christina Gottman, Jaden Stuart, and Katelyn Jones will share their personal stories of resilience, campus experiences, and future career aspirations.

“Our annual reception is a powerful celebration of community, philanthropy, and student success,” said Kristi Varner, Scholarship Coordinator at NCMC. “It is a profound honor to bring our student-athletes, nursing candidates, and academic leaders face-to-face with the donors who make their goals achievable. Having leaders like Joyce Cutsinger and Dr. Holder share the stage with outstanding students like Christina, Jaden, and Katelyn makes this year’s program truly exceptional.”

Doors to the Ketcham Center will open at 3:00 p.m. to allow guests, faculty, and volunteer staff to complete registration and locate their assigned tables prior to the start of the presentation.
