Though I was never a student at North Central Missouri College, my time here has allowed me to learn a tremendous amount and grow both personally and professionally. The support I’ve received from colleagues and leadership has continually encouraged me to pursue additional education, professional development, and new opportunities to better serve students and our communities. Being part of an institution that truly values growth, learning, and improvement has made that journey both meaningful and rewarding.
One of the most exciting parts of working at NCMC has been witnessing the college’s continued growth and impact. It has been rewarding to watch enrollment increase and to see awareness of NCMC expand beyond our local communities to a broader regional and statewide audience. As the college grows, so does its ability to create opportunities through new academic programs, transfer partnerships with four-year universities, expanded campuses, and continued investment in technology and student services.
What stands out most about NCMC is its commitment to student success. With small class sizes, dedicated faculty and staff, and strong support services, the college creates an environment where students feel supported and empowered to achieve their goals. When I talk with prospective students, I often tell them that I feel like I missed out by not attending NCMC myself. Seeing firsthand the opportunities, support, and sense of community students experience here makes it easy to say that.
Being part of this institution has given me the opportunity to grow while helping others start or continue their own educational journeys. Watching the college evolve and positively impact so many lives has been an incredible experience—and one I’m grateful to be part of.
