Ketcham Community Center Phase 1 Guidelines: May 11-June 1

  • Modified summer operating hours:
    • Mon – Fri:  5 am – 8 pm
    • Saturday:  8am to 5pm
    • Sunday:  Closed
  • No events / meetings larger than 10 people
  • Weight and Track area will be open but limited to 25 people
    • Limit 1 hour
    • Members will be allowed to enter on a 1 in, 1 out method
  • Gym will be open but limited to 10 people
    • Limit to 1 hour
    • Members will be allowed to enter on a 1 in, 1 out method
  • Age Restrictions: 
    • Senior’s only block of time:  5am to 6 am / 10 am – 12 pm 
    • 16 and over only permitted into the KCC
    • Under 16 must be accompanied by parent or guardian
  • No Day Passes / 30, 90, and Annual Member holders will be allowed to enter the facility
  • Non Members can come in and purchase a membership
  • We will have controlled access to the facilities through one entrance (N side of KCC) / Employees will continue to enter through SW KCC door
  • All staff and members will have their temperature checked upon entering the facility
  • Staff will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when interacting within 6’ of employees and members (Masks)
    • Front desk workers
    • Check in / PT’s cleaning equipment
  • Members must maintain minimum of 6 feet distance / No group congregations
  • Members will be highly encouraged (not required) to wear PPE when at the KCC / Masks will be provided for limited time
  • Working with Megan Derry to make Zumba available virtually through KCC Phase I
  • Locker rooms will be open
  • Members must disinfect equipment before and after use
  • Members must wash hands or use hand sanitizer after checking in at the front desk
  • Increased signage throughout the building to encourage social distance, hand-washing and remind members to disinfect equipment.
  • Will have staff doing operational sanitation in all open areas of the KCC 
    • Equipment will be sanitized every hour, on the hour by KCC employee’s
  • We will continue to review these guidelines regularly and communicate changes through the NCMC website and social media to meet federal, state and local guidelines.

**All above recommendations have been developed using CDC Guidelines, Gov Parsons recommendations for Phase 1 implementations, Grundy County Health Dept, and like business’ (YMCA / Anytime Fitness) in our surrounding area**
