No emergency plan can cover every situation one might encounter in the event of a violent intruder or active shooter. All campus community members are encouraged to be aware of their surroundings, think about how you’d react in different scenarios, and review the NCMC Crisis Plan and supplemental information provided below. Reviewing procedures and planning your actions should be done prior to a crisis, not during one. If you have any questions or would like additional information, contact the Vice President or President’s Office.
Below are some available resources to assist you in thinking critically about your reaction during a crisis.
“In a moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.”
– President Theodore Roosevelt
