Sue Ewigman, Head Start Director of Home Base and Early Childhood, has been selected as North Central Missouri College’s Outstanding Employee for December. Sue is from Marceline, MO, and has worked at NCMC for thirty-three years. She is an NCMC alum and holds a bachelor’s in elementary education and a master’s in curriculum and instruction.
Sue describes her job as grants, fiscal, and support. Sue has been an instrumental part of the Green Hills Head Start program for thirty-three years. Recently, she has helped complete two playground projects with a new playground in Unionville and new equipment in Milan. Sue sees the Head Start program growing by expanding to provide services to infants and toddlers. When asked about her favorite thing about NCMC, Sue said, “The people.”
When Sue isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, traveling, and growing flowers and plants.
