The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at North Central Missouri College is a two-year program offering an Associate of Applied Science Degree. The program will be housed at the Savannah location once construction is complete.  The degree includes classroom instruction, practice in a skills lab, and clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings. The program offers general sonography, which consists of abdomen, vascular, and OB/GYN. You will learn both the art and the science of diagnostic imaging. The educational opportunities facilitate personal and professional development to contribute to long-term success.

Once a student has completed their degree, they will have the knowledge and the clinical exposure they need to become a registered sonographer. This area of healthcare is expected to continue to grow as sonography becomes an increasingly preferred alternative to radiologic procedures.

Applications are currently being accepted for students who wish to join the cohort that will begin in the Fall of 2023.  There are some prerequisites and specific application requirements which can be found on the NCMC Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program webpage.  The application deadline is March 1st.
