Ready to start thinking about life after high school? North Central Missouri College’s (NCMC) Upward Bound program is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year!
High school students from Brookfield, Chillicothe, Gallatin, Hamilton, Trenton, and Tri-County are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to get a head start on their college journey. The priority application deadline is September 9.
Upward Bound is designed to help students prepare for and succeed in college by providing the support, resources, and experiences they need to reach their goals. Participants have access to academic instruction, tutoring, advising, study and motivational skills, college visits, career exploration, cultural experiences, and a rewarding summer program—all designed to help students feel prepared and confident about life after high school.
Upward Bound is more than a program—it’s a pathway to college and a support system for students as they work toward their future. The program is 100% federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education and is designed to assist eligible high school students in preparing for successful college enrollment and completion.
